‘Homegrown criminals’ are next: Beware of Trump’s true intentions
OPINION: Who are the ‘homegrown’ criminals Trump was talking about wanting to deport this week?
By Shade Burgs

This week, President Donald Trump said he would like the El Salvadoran president to build five more mega prisons because “homegrown criminals’ are next.
He means Black people.
Don’t be fooled, he literally means Black people: If a national prison industry was profitable for all involved except the prisoners, imagine what happens when America starts to export the only product it produces more than any country on Earth, and that’s prisoners.
If we, as Black people, have the highest rate of incarceration, statistically speaking, then we also, by default, have the highest rate of wrongful convictions in a justice system that is purposely incentivized to focus on our communities. Understand that the constitution protects against slavery unless you are convicted of a felony in this country, however, the Constitution does not apply to any country outside the U.S. So those shipped off to foreign prisons fall under the rule of that foreign country.
This is how those who are for a return to the ‘good old days’ get exactly what they want, won’t admit to and will fight against being taught in schools in the future.

Feedback Needed for DART’s New Bus Network
Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART) is redesigning its public transit network. DART is collecting public input on two maps that represent different options for delivering bus service.
From now until April 30, attend a public meeting or look at the maps online and take a short survey to share what kind of transit network you want. Learn more at reimagineDARTdsm.com.
And anyone His MAGA followers deem to be an Enemy Of The State, which is practically anyone who raises a voice in protest. The whole “agreement “ made by the Administration and El Salvador must be publicized. I understand some of Congress is working on that. But it shouldn’t have been kept under wraps at all.
Yup. Black and Brown people. This, more than ever, is when we need to band together.
